So I just won a contest at www.junkmag.com so I'm superpsyched. I actually really like the official winner's photograph. HOnestly, I feel like somehting about my paintings that won isn't really translating from painting to scan/photo, but Brad, the editor seems to like it. Oh, and I get a free bag full of shit from Fashion Week. And a photo from Brad. Err and I think a signed Christian Siriano lookbook (but that might have been for the top billed artist) :D Excited.

I have been promising to send him a painting I did of him for the longest time. It took me a year to give Melissa her Christmas painting. This summer is going to be the summer of hardcore painting and practice. I'm buckling down like Sargent. I'm really terrible about that shit. Le sigh.
